SUNY Upstate Medical University acceptance rate
PreMD does not publish an acceptance rate for individual schools. The free national sources publish applications and matriculants, not the number of offers a school made, so an acceptance rate cannot be calculated from them without inventing the missing number.
What can be published from those figures is the ratio: SUNY Upstate Medical University received 6,198 applications for 182 seats in the entering class, or about 34.1 applications per seat.

Community college coursework: Community College coursework shall be considered based on student's overall record. If a student is matriculated at an accredited four-year college or university, the Admissions Committee strongly recommends that all science prerequisites be completed at that institution. If a student begins college at an accredited two- year college and transfers to a competitive four-year college or university to complete their bachelor's degree, they must demonstrate continued academic excellence in any remaining prerequisite and/or upper-level science courses taken at the four-year institution.

SUNY Upstate Medical University interview
Interviews are conducted virtually using an MMI interview format. Applicants will interview with students, faculty, administrators, or community physicians.
PreMD reads that as an MMI, and sets up its interview practice for this school accordingly.
August
Interviews are conducted on select Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays beginning in September and continue until early March. In addition to the interview sessions, applicants will participate in a Meet & Greet with admissions staff and current medical students. On-campus applicant events will be held in the Spring and applicants will have the opportunity to get a feel for the medical school, tour the facilities, learn more about the medical school offerings, and interact with faculty, students, and staff.

SUNY Upstate Medical University rankings
PreMD does not publish a ranking of medical schools and does not republish anyone else's. Ranking tables are licensed products, and a number reproduced here without its methodology and its year is worse than no number at all.
What this page publishes instead is the comparison above: where the school's own reported figures sit among the MD programs that report the same figure, with the count of reporting programs stated so the comparison can be judged.
