Texas Tech University HSC acceptance rate
PreMD does not publish an acceptance rate for individual schools. The free national sources publish applications and matriculants, not the number of offers a school made, so an acceptance rate cannot be calculated from them without inventing the missing number.
What can be published from those figures is the ratio: Texas Tech University HSC received 5,348 applications for 182 seats in the entering class, or about 29.4 applications per seat.

TTUHSC School of Medicine does provide opportunities for applicants who have been invited to interview to come visit the campus on select Preview Days throughout the interview cycle. Texas Tech University HSC mission
To enhance the overall health and outcomes for communities in which we serve, we seek to recruit students, faculty and senior administrative staff and admit individuals who have ties to West Texas or who come from or have an interest in serving rural areas, including those who may come from socioeconomically disadvantaged or first generation backgrounds. The core foundational value of including the different cultures, lifestyles, personal beliefs and ideas of all those we serve ─ and serve alongside ─ provides a positive impact on the health of our regional, national and global societies. We achieve this by producing physicians with core values who are competent and capable of making positive impacts on the health of an ever changing demographic and the communities in which they serve. As we pursue excellence in health care education, research and patient care, we will be ever mindful of the unity that is gained through our collective strengths.
Texas Tech University HSC rankings
PreMD does not publish a ranking of medical schools and does not republish anyone else's. Ranking tables are licensed products, and a number reproduced here without its methodology and its year is worse than no number at all.
What this page publishes instead is the comparison above: where the school's own reported figures sit among the MD programs that report the same figure, with the count of reporting programs stated so the comparison can be judged.
